All four areas of activity are run by The Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Ltd, a registered charity. Most staff at Brockwood are residential, living and working together in a spirit of inquiry and co-operation, which is informed by a serious interest in Krishnamurti's Teaching.

Commis Chef/Cook Residential
We are seeking a residential commis chef/cook with experience of working in a similar environment to Brockwood or in restaurants/outside caterers. Experience in a vegetarian kitchen is not essential as training will be given. Duties include:
- Preparation for cooking of daily lunch and supper menus for staff and pupils, under supervision of head or sous chef.
- Undertaking daily and weekly cleaning of kitchen and store areas.
- Completing diary system for temperature controls and health and hygiene.
- Helping with checking and storing of deliveries.
- Stocktaking and recording stock levels of cold room and dry store goods.
The successful candidate will be fit and healthy and be able to demonstrate their ability to work in a close-knit team. He/she should have a calm and organised outlook and be an efficient and tidy cook. He/she must have an excellent command of English, written and spoken. Food hygiene certificate required.
