Brockwood Park in Hampshire is home to Brockwood Park School, Inwoods Small School, The Krishnamurti Centre and the Krishnamurti Foundation. All four areas of activity are run by The Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Ltd, a registered charity. Most staff at Brockwood are residential, living and working together in a spirit of inquiry and cooperation, which is informed by a serious interest in Krishnamurti’s teaching.

Head Teacher – Inwoods Small School
Required for September 2020 a qualified and experienced teacher to co-ordinate all the activities of this unique school.
At Inwoods there are between 30 to 40 children aged from 5 to 11 years old. The school operates with no sense of pressure, competition or comparison, and with an emphasis on good relationships: adults with children and the children with each other. As the intentions at Inwoods are informed by the teachings of J. Krishnamurti on education, a knowledge and appreciation of these teachings are essential for any applicant.

Residential Art Teacher & Tutor
The purpose of this role is to attend to the students’ academic needs at the School in keeping with the intentions of the School. Brockwood Park School was founded by J Krishnamurti, a renowned philosopher and educator. He has left an extensive body of work related to education which constitutes the intentions and ethos of Brockwood Park School underlying its education, curriculum and community life.
• Responsible for the Brockwood art courses; the curriculum has been developed over the years for young first year students, and students who wish to explore their creativity without the pressures of an exam or formal assessment
• Emphasis is to support the young art maker in finding their own motivation and interest, learning technical skills in many mediums and trusting their own inner creative voice
• Preparing and delivering classes in keeping with the ethos of the School and in line with the Curriculum plan and timetable
• Having an overview of each student and an understanding of their educational needs
• Assessing students’ progress as and when necessary and ensuring that learning is occurring
